The red rose in this corner has grown into an impenetrable thicket, like Sleeping Beauty’s roses. The drooping canes around the little madonna create a meditative mood.
Luca oversees garden chores, and is especially keen to guard the many birds who find refuge here from opportunistic cats.
This Gemini rose was planted for my husband, Michael, and blooms around his birthday.
